Change Order (Lump Sum) - 496

This design-build change order which is used with the ConsensusDocs’ 415 provides a contract document to formalize changes in the work that impact the design-build project scheduled time, contract price, or both. Common causes for use of a change order are incorrect estimates of a project’s work, environmental factors such as extreme weather, and additions to the scope of a project’s work. The Design-Builder and Owner both sign this mutually acceptable adjustment and this document also keeps track of previous change orders.
